DropBox is the client application for DropShot's service. The service itself is all about sharing your media with the world. You can use the service using the Web uploader or download DropBox and share your images and videos straight from your desktop. Either way, the service seems to work great and looks as sharp as any other service out there. When you download the client, you will notice how simple it is. All you need to do to upload an image or video is select them and hit the upload button. You can even upload several images and videos at once. The service will even apply enhancement filters on your photos so they look better. This is all automatic. If you want to, you can even share your pictures directly with your family and friends via e-mail. You can even send several images to several different addresses. Now, the application has some disadvantages over its close competitors. The first one is that it requires you to register, which takes a couple of minutes. You even have to register to use the web uploader. That isn't too bad, but if you don't pay, you will face file size limitations that are not really up to the standards. You can only share 2 minutes of a video and the images can't be too big. |
- It looks good.
- Transfers are speedy.
- E-mail sharing.
|
- You need to register and there are some big file-size limitations.
